Albany Care hosts Annual Art Fair

(Evanston, IL - August 28, 2012) - Albany Care, a SIR Management facility, will again host its 11th Annual Art Fair on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 11:30 am - 3 pm.

The community, supporters of the arts and mental health advocates are invited to attend this free event. The fair will be held in beautiful Grey Park in Evanston, located at the corner of Main and Ridge, across the street from Albany Care. The community is invited to view and/or purchase the creative works of Albany Care's talented residents. Refreshments will be served.

Bryan Barrish, President of SIR Management, supports this project, "The residents of Albany Care work really hard to prepare for this event by painting, sketching, making jewelry, doing needlework, and writing poetry. I have worked with residents suffering from psychiatric illness a long time, and I have always been amazed at the artistic talents of these individuals. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to see how productive and artistic people can be, despite their psychiatric disabilities."
